Governors and deputy governors from Brazilian northeastern states are traveling to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to attract capital and partnerships for their development projects. The Arab-Brazilian Chamber participates.

The Qatari embassy held an event earlier this week in the Brazilian capital to celebrate Qatar’s National Day, during which Ambassador Ahmad Mohammed Alshebani addressed the guests about the country and recent developments in its relationship with Brazil.

Mwani Qatar signed a memorandum of understanding with the Qatar Free Zones Authority, through which it will provide in port and logistics services to companies operating in the country’s free zones.

Brazil is becoming an increasingly important supplier in the Arab beauty market, particularly with hair care products. The region is supplied by companies such as Floractive, specializing in hair treatments, and Terra Fértil, offering hair straighteners and dryers. Light Hair aims to enter the market, too.

Environmental and sustainability issues are on the list of key priorities of the Arab country, Qatari news report says. Strategies have included the issuance of green bonds, flagship projects such as the deployment of carbon capture technologies, and recycling.
